Colossal screen Review

I'm not sure how to play Jevon's game. The reason is because I have no idea how to make it work! It resembles Professor Hagan's sample code, but unlike his code, I can't make the ball do anything except move around. I tried again while pressing the arrow keys and the a, s, d, and w keys, but nothing happens. Maybe there's something that I'm missing, but for now, I can only give the game a thumbs down.
